Our main business is small to medium house and flat removals in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee. We provide the vehicle to suit, a crew who know what they're doing and the level of service you need. We can come and pack for you, or if you take care of the boxing up, we come and do the lifting, loading and unloading which cuts the price in half, depending on how far you're going.
You tell us what you need moved, from where, and where to and if you need Edinburgh storage or if the cheaper Fife storage will do, and we tailor our service to your needs, provide a quote and get it done. We have 4 different van sizes available so you only pay for what you need. Removals in Edinburgh can be an expensive operation if you choose the wrong company, and although I can't name them here, as a guide I'd say the bigger companies are the bigger rogues.

Anywhere in the UK and Ireland. We flit between Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee with regular removals to London, Belfast, Cardiff, Bristol and beyond. Our record so far is a van and man load from the Isle of Lewis to the Isle of Wight. (725miles and 4 ferry trips.)

I've found over the years that the best deals are available online, usually with next day delivery so if you've got time get them that way, or if you're out of time, visit your nearest storage centre which tends to be a lot more expensive. Avoid supermarket boxes please. They don't tend to hold up once you put any weight in them.
Here is my top pick from the online suppliers.

We've been helping people with Edinburgh removals to places all over the country for the last 6 years now so don't worry. Hopefully you can see from our client reviews how much care we take and we hope to add your kind words soon. If you can email me with both addresses and a moving date with a short description of what you're moving, I'll call to arrange a visit or we can organise the whole removal over the phone. If you're moving within a couple of weeks, text me now for a call back or call straight to my mobile on 07940 853151. The email address isoffice@diamondmovers.co.ukand I look forward to hearing from you.
A typical same day move.
To give you an idea of what a typical day involves, and hopefully help you relax a bit. From my experience, folks get a wee bit tense just thinking about moving, so here's what generally happens. Most people opt to do their own packing, so we're coming in to lift and shift. So usually we arrive at 8am to start emptying the house or flat of boxes and all the small items. I take a bit of time over the stack in the removal van getting everything into a tight package before covering and strapping it all into place. Usually at that point, we break for a cuppa and plan the order for moving out the furniture. You can usually see at this point that we've done this a few times and start to calm down. Beds go next, so we wrap divan bases in polythene, and place the mattresses into bags to keep them clean, then into the truck and tie them in. Next goes sofas and armchairs, which again get cocooned in polythene to keep them clean and also compresses the cushions to make moving easier. Once that's done, the rest is easy and we carry on until the house is empty..By this time it's around noon, and we go for lunch, while you go and exchange keys and we all meet up at the new property for 1pm. You then give us the grand tour so we know where to put everything and we get to unloading. We're happy (unlike some) to place each item exactly where you want it, and we unwrap as we go, and take our rubbish with us. The boxes and small items all go into the rooms of your choice as well and as soon as we're done we invite you to come and check the vehicle is indeed empty, which is a small legal requirement. And that's it. Times vary if you're on the 7th floor and the lift's broken (which does happen) or if we're off to London, but you get the idea. So give me a call to arrange a quote and I'll pop round to jot it all down and get you a price.
